I am a registered nurse and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia. I received my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky. Before my psychiatric mental health nursing practice studies, I earned my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Advanced Community Public Health Nursing from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
In our first session together, we'll start with a brief introduction and discussion of the challenges that you are facing, before diving into a comprehensive assessment to establish any psychiatric diagnoses. If need be, we will discuss the management of medication regimens and/or provide appropriate psychotherapy as needed.
My practice ethics, my education, and my 20+ years of providing clinical care and treatment to patients with medical and chronic conditions are reflected in my immense experience of health care delivery, including the ability to rule out medical conditions before treating psychiatric disorders and customize treatment for each patient.
