I am a down to earth physician who enjoys spending time with clients to get to know them as individuals with unique needs. I received my medical degree from the University of Massachusetts. I subsequently completed my psychiatric residency at Georgetown University Medical Center and a fellowship in Child Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I work with children, adolescents and adults and provide psychiatric treatment for Depression , Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, OCD, Autism and ADHD. I enjoy working with clients of all ages, of various backgrounds and the LGBT community.
I have extensive knowledge in psychopharmacology and often combine this with supportive, psychodynamic and cognitive- behavioral approaches depending on the client and their particular needs.
I currently have availability to see new clients. I am able to provide psychiatric services via telehealth and am also seeing clients in my office. I set aside 1-1.5 hours for an initial appointment and 30 minutes to 1 hour for follow- up appointments.
