As a Psychiatrist (MD) with a positive, caring and down to earth approach, I take a holistic view of your medication management experience. In addition to medications, I also believe in lifestyle changes, psychotherapy and wellness activities that contribute to your overall well being. My goal is by working together, we can work on helping you achieve the best quality of life you can have. I will listen, and take time to make sure you are heard. I will also take the time to make sure you understand my recommendations, and answer questions that you have about recommendations for any medications that I may make for you.
In collaboration with your care team, I provide information, education and I am a partner in your mental health care team with you, your therapist and primary care provider. I am also Bilingual and Speak Spanish. I am a Medical Doctor and I will always take into consideration your general health and all current medications that you may be receiving.
Remember that I am, first and foremost, a Medical Doctor with over 40 years of experience and your safety will always be my primary concern. I will always listen to you and I hope to treat you as I would want a family member to be treated. Your comfort, dignity and trust are extremely important to me. Your confidentiality will always be closely guarded.
