Spencer has worked in health care for the past 13 years, first as an RN and the past 6 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner in eastern Idaho. Wanting to make a difference and having found a passion for helping others improve their mental health, he returned to school and obtained a post graduate certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Graceland University in Independence, Missouri.
His years of primary care experience and being dual certified as a Family NP and Psychiatric NP gives Spencer great insight into evaluating and assessing the whole person and recognizing the connections between medical and mental health.
