I am a board-certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist based in New York City. I completed my Adult Psychiatry residency at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and my Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at Weill Cornell and Columbia University Medical Centers. I am accepting child, adolescent, and adult clients. I have expertise in both talk therapy and medication management for a wide range of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, and ADHD.
I understand that situational factors, such as relationships, educational or professional environments, stress, and family dynamics play a major role in an individual’s emotional well-being and overall functioning. With that in mind, I aim to partner with clients in understanding their psychiatric symptoms in the larger context of their lives.
My style is warm, supportive, and person-centered. Our first session together will include a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, in which we will discuss your current concerns, past experiences and long-term goals. We will then work together to create a treatment plan that may include psychotherapy, medications, or a combination of the two.
