I have always enjoyed working with people who have a desire to see treatment as a partnership. I have been in practice for many years and have treated a wide range of people. I began to use pharmacogenetic testing to assist the development of treatment as a partnership. Each individual has the opportunity to see what medications are most successful for them.
I am a psychiatrist who began treating patients with PTSD in the early 1990's. Through this work, I have also worked with survivors of abuse. Because of these exeriences, I became interested in addictions work. I have been prescribing Suboxone for many years now.
Early in 2016, I began to focus upon the use of genomic testing for medications. I have found that the use of such testing significantly improves the successful treatment of depression, Bipolar Disorder and various anxiety diagnoses. The testing also demonstrates the most successful medications for the treatment of ADHD.
