Hello, I'm Dr. Shannon Corbin. I went to medical school at the University of Washington (UW), where I also completed my residency in Psychiatry. I am a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (the "˜official' way of saying that I am a board-certified specialist). As a psychiatrist I see only adults, with special interests in older adults, women, veterans and people managing long-term health conditions. I've a strong interest in integrated care and in reaching people who've potentially been underserved by our health care systems.
Prior to medical school I was able to use my Psychology Bachelor of Science degree working as a psychometrist and study coordinator at the Seattle VA and UW's Alzheimer's Disease Research Center"“ that experience propelled me onto the path of becoming a physician.
While I'll be working here on a part-time basis via telehealth, I'm looking forward to getting to meet and work with you.
