Before I was a nurse practitioner I was a nurse. Before I was a nurse I was a mother with postpartum anxiety and depression. Mental health is my passion because I bring the empathy of shared experience to the table. I know how painful anxiety and depression can be, how embarrassing it might be to seek out help, how daunting the medication is, and how it feels to lose hope; to feel stuck. I do what I do because I know how effective the medications are, and for most people we can find a medication that works for them.
I have 7 years of experience as a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and I have owned Brunswick Psychiatry and Wellness Services for 3 years. My degrees are from Shenandoah Univ (2016) and the University of Maryland (2011). I prescribe psychiatric medication for most mental health conditions and work with patients 10 years old and above
