Trained in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy, I am a psychiatrist who takes a compassionate, down-to-earth, and evidence-based approach to care. I believe in modalities of wellness from both Western and Eastern philosophies and enjoy helping others find the treatment that works best for them. My focus clinically rests in depression, ADHD, pregnancy and postpartum issues for all parents and guardians, gender issues, PTSD, anxiety, and second generation immigrant issues. Please note: I have limited availability at this time.
My private practice is in Los Feliz, serving eastside neighborhoods including Silver Lake, Echo Park, Atwater Village, East Hollywood, Downtown L.A., Eagle Rock, Glendale, Highland Park, and Mt. Washington. I graduated from Pomona College with a B.A. in Theatre and worked 14 years in the film industry.
I completed my pre-med education at UCLA and earned my medical doctorate from the George Washington University School of Medicine in the nation's capital. I then returned to UCLA for psychiatry residency where I served as Chief Resident. Outside of private practice, I have been providing psychiatric services to our unhoused neighbors in Skid Row since 2015.
