Hi! My name is Dr. Sara Chun, MD. I am a board-certified psychiatrist who provides medication management. I hope to provide an informative space for patients to consider different treatment options and collaboratively find their personal balance between therapy, skills, and medicine. I also want to understand any questions or apprehensions that folks may have about taking psychiatric medications. While I primarily manage medications, I incorporate cognitive behavioral, dialectic, and psychodynamic therapy approaches into my sessions in hopes of making our meetings more useful and robust.
A little about me - I received my medical degree at George Washington University in Washington, DC and completed my psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in Manhattan. I have also trained under behavioral and psychodynamic therapists so that I can have a better understanding of the many tools available to help patients.
My goal is to provide guidance so that folks may make comfortable, enthusiastic, and informed decisions about their treatment. I hope to connect soon to see how I may be helpful for you! I work primarily via telehealth but can offer in-person appointments if needed for your treatment plan.
