I have been in practice for over 30 years as a Psychiatric NP, and 10 years prior as an RN. I specialize in providing psychiatric evaluations, and pharmacological management, with a focus on non-addictive, yet clinically effective treatments. I am experienced with treating psychiatric issues including but not limited to, Depression, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Bipolar, PTSD, Grief, Psychotic Disorders, ADHD, and Recovery. I obtained my BSN at Boston University and MSN at USF. Subsequently, I worked with terminally ill cancer patients at a Mass General-affiliated hospital.
I have worked in private practice since 1994. In addition, I've worked with adult civilian and military personnel in community mental health, correctional, private, and Federal settings. My goal is for you to feel like your best self. We'll meet initially for a one-hour psychiatric evaluation and discuss which if any medications may be useful for you.
We will focus on your strengths and coping strategies. Most clients are referred by their therapists, I will work with them to tailor your individual treatment plan. Every person is unique and different and I look forward to working with you to find the most appropriate pharmacologic solution for your optimum wellness. Not taking new clients at this time.
