Neurology of MAT and Drugs of Abuse
In this group, I will share what I share at addiction centers around the valley. This will encompass at a micro and macro level common substances of abuse (stimulants, opioids, benzodiazepines, and alcohol). I will discuss pharmacologic approaches and how they work (Vivitrol, Suboxone, Sublocade, Gabapentin, Wellbutrin, NAC). I will also take questions. I will help explain stigma and how to overcome it. This is especially good for providers, family members, and those wanting more information.
