Dr. Gomez treats clients ages 15 & up. Sessions may be face to face or virtual (using a HIPAA compliant platform). We understand that medication management is not the only solution. The lifestyle that precipitated the stress response in the first plans needs to change. In addition to psychotherapy and medication management, we place high regards for modalities such as weight management, medical management, and sleep hygiene to combat the body’s inflammatory response, which exacerbates mental illness. We aim to uses the lowest effective dose and help people to eventually not depend on medication.

In addition to outpatient services, Dr. Gomez has 4 years of Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) experience. Dr. Gomez has researched, and presented lectures on the effects of ketamine for treatment resistant depression. She has also researched the impacts of adrenal hormones, such as DHEA on mental health. Dr. Gomez also has experience in:

Assisting patients with nutrition/digestive health, weight management, meditation and exercise to help reduce stress, combat inflammation, and improve overall well being. She is certified in TMS therapy. Dr. Gomez completed her training at RUMC hospital, an affiliate of the Mount Sinai Hospital in NY. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association.
