I’m an integrative psychiatrist who helps children, adolescents, and young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism, and OCD to improve their self-esteem and feel more energized, happy, and motivated. I get to the root cause of health concerns by providing parents and young adults with a natural and integrative approach to healing that goes beyond traditional medicine. I also specialize in treating eating disorders, mood, and personality disorders, and working with families and children in the adoption and foster care system. The root causes of mental illness are unique to each individual. I value collaborating with my patients and knowing they feel listened to. I customize their treatment plans through a holistic approach, which may include nutraceuticals, mindfulness techniques and nutritional counseling to restore and heal the body. I also provide parent and family counseling.
As a mother of a child who was diagnosed with OCD, I understand the challenges that children and families go through. I also went through the adoption process, which caused anxiety, depression, and excitement all rolled into one amazing bundle of joy!
