I am a board certified psychiatrist and a psychoanalytic psychotherapist offering help to those struggling with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma or relational issues. I find I can help patients by identifying some of the causes of their suffering. We can then work on these issues through therapy, use of medication if necessary, as well as by learning the resources the patient has within and by learning how they can best get support.

Madeline Jacobs is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health & Science University and has been working in the psychiatric field since 2015. She has worked at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, the largest LGBT Center in the country, and would love the opportunity to broaden the reach of LGBTQ+ affirming mental health care through telepsychiatry. She is trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), an evidence-based trauma therapy, and takes a trauma-informed perspective on mental health care.

I believe that each of us has the capacity for growth and live by the motto that “where there is breath, there is hope.” I have a passion for helping people who are working to overcome mental health issues and specialize in working with populations who are also struggling with addiction.
