I noticed that there weren’t many mental health options tailored to assist the specific needs for the LGBTQ+ community & as a black gay male, I knew this would be my niche.

Nancy graduated from Washington State University with a Master of Science in Nursing, and is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has more than 10 years of experience and specializes in treating patients with depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar and sleep disorders, as well as patients in the LGBTQIA+ community with care needs related to gender dysphoria/transgender-related mental health care. She treats patients ages 14-64.

I feel it is an honor to work alongside clients on their personal journey to mental health and wellness. It is important for me to understand what a client's primary goal is for treatment, what their past experiences have been, what personal strengths they possess, and what their value systems are. Above all, I hope to work with clients in a way that is meaningful and that positively impacts their daily lives. I enjoy working with clients who are motivated and willing to meet me halfway in our work together.

Ross A Brown is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). He holds a Masters of Science and Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin, where he completed studies as an Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist. For fifteen years he worked in preventative cardiology and stroke neurology, then went on to complete his postmaster certificate as a PMHNP at the University of New Mexico. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, he cares for patients ages sixteen and older with anxiety, depression, and mood disorders and specializes in LGBTQIA+ affirming mental health care.

I am an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who enjoys working with clients from all walks of life. I treat the breadth of mental health challenges with thoughtful, evidence based medication management and adjunctive psychotherapy. I consider the whole person rather than their cluster of symptoms and provide education and pharmacological interventions that meet clients goals and account for their preferences. I believe in a collaborative approach and welcome input from therapists and other providers on the team.

I am a board-certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My primary goal is to empower clients to regain their well-being and fully embrace their personal and professional lives. I believe compassionate care is at the heart of effective treatment. I prioritize active listening and open communication, allowing patients to express their concerns, fears, and aspirations freely. Creating a non-judgmental space fosters a strong therapeutic alliance based on trust and mutual respect, my approach goes beyond the diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions, I like to get to know my patients as a whole person.

Madeline Jacobs is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health & Science University and has been working in the psychiatric field since 2015. She has worked at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, the largest LGBT Center in the country, and would love the opportunity to broaden the reach of LGBTQ+ affirming mental health care through telepsychiatry. She is trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), an evidence-based trauma therapy. She takes a trauma-informed perspective on mental health care.

With 28 years in healthcare, Melissa, a U.S. Army vet, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health NP licensed in WA and OR. Holding an MSN from Gonzaga University, she provides evidence-based care for those 18+, addressing anxiety, depression, bipolar, and trauma-related concerns. Melissa emphasizes connections with patients, values inherent worth, and fosters respect, understanding, and compassion. Collaborating on holistic treatment decisions, she builds strong therapeutic relationships in a safe environment.

I’m a board-certified general adult psychiatrist with experience treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders. I earned my medical degree at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and completed psychiatry residence at UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute. Patients are often experts of their own body and experiences; if not, we will work through blockages disconnecting oneself from one's body to gain insights. Since I have worked with patients who felt misunderstood or mistreated by healthcare professionals, I intentionally endeavor to break that pattern.

I am a board-certified family psychiatric nurse practitioner. I have a master's degree in psychiatric nursing specializing in mental and behavioral health medicine. I have verifiable experience in treating variety of psychiatric disorders such as; mood disorders including resistant depression, eating disorders, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia, stress and sleep related disorders.
