His interests and expertise are in general adult psychiatric medicine with special interest in helping patients navigate depression, anxiety, OCD, and LGBTQ+ cultural issues. He provides management of prescription medications along with supportive psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy during every interaction.

I am a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist. I've been in private practice in OH and KY for many years. My primary clinical focus is the treatment of ADHD, Mood Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety and Depression. My primary goal as a physician is to work with patients to establish and implement the treatment plan that best suits them and their families. I am proud to treat my patients who started as patients when they were children, who now also bring their children to me for treatment.

I treat a broad range of problems, based on years of experience. Often, I combine medication and psychotherapy with good results. I treat acute conditions, such as severe depression and anxiety, to help the patient restore his or her level of functioning. I also treat longer-lasting conditions which might allow one to "get by", but feel as if they are tied in knots. Dr. Thomas Crane is a board-certified psychiatrist who practices general adult psychiatry, with a special interest in managing depression, anxiety, OCD, and ADHD. He attended Calvin College for his Bachelor’s Degree and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine for his Medical Degree. He then completed his Residency in Psychiatry at Ohio State University. After spending six months serving the prison population, he is back to doing what he finds most rewarding, which is one-on-one outpatient psychiatry.

Dr. Jennifer Shoenfelt is a double board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist and adult psychiatrist. Her practice focuses on child and adolescent medication management. Typically, she offers this in conjunction with supportive or emotionally focused therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. However, occasionally Dr. Shoenfelt may believe that additional therapy is needed and will ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome. She provides treatment plans that include holistic recommendations that include diet, exercise, educational and psychosocial/spiritual aspects of care.

I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and have been practicing since 2005. I completed my residency from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and my Fellowship in Addictions from the Robert Johnson Wood Foundation. In 2014, I was featured in SJ Magazine as one of New Jersey’s top psychiatrists. I have experience working with adults as well as adolescents suffering from both psychiatric diagnosis and substance use disorders and have extensive experience working in both out-patient and in-patient settings.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist with an MD from The Ohio State University and a PhD in cell and developmental biology. I have extensive training in psychotherapy for both adults and children. I have helped many patients achieve lasting, thorough changes toward a happy and fulfilling life. The issues include ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, self-harm, paranoia, PTSD, and psychotic disorder. I treat my patients with a combination of psychotherapy and medication. My psychotherapy approaches include psychodynamic and supportive psychotherapy, CBT, and play therapy, whichever proves to be most appropriate and effective.
