I then pursued my education as a nurse first obtaining my Associates Degree as a Registered Nurse and then my Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree. I worked on Psychiatric and Acute Care units in the hospital setting for 6 years. Throughout that time, I obtained a Master of Science in Advanced Practice Nursing Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner followed by a Master of Science in Advanced Practice Nursing Degree as a Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

My ideal client is someone who is struggling with anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorder and seeking a comprehensive approach to managing their mental health. They may feel overwhelmed by their symptoms, experiencing mood swings, or finding it difficult to cope with daily stressors. This client is ready to take proactive steps towards their well-being, desiring a balanced and fulfilling life. They need a supportive environment where they can openly discuss their feelings without judgment, as well as evidence-based treatments to address their unique challenges.

I care about my patients and listen to his or her needs to come up with the best individualized treatment plan. I diagnose and treat all mental health conditions with appropriate medications as needed. I do this in a holistic manner, meaning I treat the patient as a whole rather than a sum of his or her parts. I will run appropriate bloodwork as well as treat mental health conditions in the context of any chronic illness the patient may be suffering. I am here to help.

Elizabeth Pfalzgraf earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and both bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from Kent State University. Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, she has experience in outpatient, inpatient, and community mental health care and serves as an educator for undergraduate nursing. She sees ages 6 to 64 and specializes in anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders, depressive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), autism spectrum disorders (ASD), and schizophrenia.
