I am an Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in precision psychiatry. I received my graduate degree from Yale University School of Nursing in 2006. In addition to being a Nurse Practitioner, I have been a psychiatric RN for many years. Prior to entering Yale, I worked for 7 years on a major Harvard Medical School psychiatric teaching unit. I am a conservative prescriber and believe in using the smallest possible dosages of medication to treat a client's symptoms. I do very thorough initial evaluations with my clients and work with them closely until they are stable on their medications.

I am a board certified adult psychiatrist specializing in women's mental health and reproductive psychiatry. I work solely with adult women ages 18 and above. I have specialized training and competency in treating premenstrual dysphoric disorder, pregnant and postpartum women, those experiencing infertility, as well as those experiencing difficulties around the transition to menopause.

I'm a Nurse Practitioner with advanced training in therapy and medication management of all mood disorders. I strongly believe that total remission of your symptoms is possible. Research has shown that therapy in addition to medications for those who need them works best. Medication is prescribed as a last resort. I don't take prescribing medication lightly and do not believe in a one pill cure-all. There are many options we can explore.

I see patients between the ages of 5 and 65 years of age. Please note that I do not sub-specialize in geriatrics.
