Dr. Frieder is a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in women’s mental health. This includes emotional and psychological problems during pregnancy, postpartum, perinatal losses, infertility, menopause, perimenopause and premenstrual dysphoric disorder. She pursued a residency in OBGYN in Argentina, and a residency in Adult Psychiatry and Fellowship in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry at Montefiore Medical Center in The Bronx, NY. Dr. Frieder worked and taught at Montefiore Medical Group and at Zucker Hillside Hospital where she served as the Physician in Charge of the Perinatal Program.

Maryellen Hammill is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. Maryellen is a warm, empathetic care provider who understands the importance of being fully present and engaged with her patients. She helps her patients identify issues causing them distress and helps them explore holistic, evidence-based treatment options. Everyday challenges, life transitions, adverse experiences, and personal stressors can manifest in the form of stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, etc. A thorough psychiatric interview and assessment can bring those issues to light. She provides psychiatric assessments, talk therapy, and Med Management.

Dr. Mark Chofla is a board-certified psychiatrist and physician who completed his specialty residency training at the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California at Davis, Dr. Chofla earned his medical degree from Midwestern University: Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Hallie Knopf is a board certified adult psychiatrist. Dr. Knopf completed her undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis and received her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed an adult psychiatry residency training program at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Knopf specializes in women’s mental health and reproductive psychiatry, which includes emotional and psychological problems during pregnancy, postpartum, perinatal losses, infertility, menopause, perimenopause and premenstrual symptoms.

Trained as a child and adolescent psychiatrist and also as an adult psychiatrist, with board certification in both, I have experience in a variety of mental health difficulties in children, adolescents and adults. My goal is to apply this experience in management of every patient that seek my services to help improve their level of functioning in different areas of their lives including school, work, at home, with relationships and in the community.

Carmen Wong is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. Carmen approaches all problems with the patient in mind knowing that each experience is unique and individual. Her Eastern background and Western approach provide a holistic model of care which is not solely focused on psychopharmacology. She believes that through empathetic and compassionate care, we can all approach life’s obstacles together with growth and resilience. You can expect a collaborative treatment plan with Carmen.
