Alexandra is a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in New York with experience in treating children/adolescents and adults. She completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice at one of the nation's leading institutes, Columbia University School of Nursing and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from NYU. Her approach toward mental health is holistic and integrative, with a focus on biological, psychological, and sociological factors that contribute to mental health and wellness.

I am a board certified psychiatrist with extensive experience in psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatment. I have a special interest in women's mental health issues that include mood disorders related to menstruation, pregnancy and postpartum, as well as menopause and other life transitions. I enjoy providing comprehensive and compassionate psychiatric treatment that may include psychotherapy (talk therapy) and medication when appropriate.
