I have spent many years studying what happens in therapy sessions and have become an internationally known expert on how, when, and whether patients benefit. I try to put that knowledge to use in every session. As a physician, I can evaluate whether medication may also be helpful in the short term while working together on problems that have contributed to your present unhappiness.

Dr. Peckover is a Staff Psychiatrist at Talkiatry. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult Psychiatry. He has been practicing for three and a half years. Dr. Peckover provides patient-centered care with an emphasis on medication management, psychoeducational, and lifestyle adjustments. He typically provides supportive or integrative therapy along with medication management, but some cases will require the addition of a therapist to the treatment team.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with several years of experience in nursing and healthcare. In private practice for 20 years, I treat both simple and complex psychiatric conditions with medication, psychotherapy (talk therapy) or both.
