I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I graduated with my masters from New York University. I have worked on an inpatient psychiatry unit and in an outpatient clinic. That being said, 25% of my patients are not on any medication since I employ non-medicinal interventions that help remediate psychiatric symptoms whenever possible.
