I am a Yale-educated, Cornell- and Columbia-trained psychiatrist (MD) with a PhD in neuroscience, providing customized treatment based on individual needs. I am committed to improving the wellness of my patients through a flexible and responsive approach. I specialize in psychotherapy and psychopharmacology for anxiety, OCD, ADHD, mood, and personality disorders. I am well versed in CBT, IPT, DBT, and psychodynamic psychotherapy (insight-oriented psychotherapy). I'm board certified (ABPN) in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. I believe that effective treatment requires getting to know patients as individuals.

The world can be a difficult place, and my calling is to help by getting to know you as a human being with a story. I specialize in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry — I treat a wide range of ages and difficulties. There are times when the careful use of medication may be helpful and even life-saving — and medication may not always address the needs of the whole person. I can also help you write and rewrite your story with an integration of compassion, common sense, and years of experience in a variety of evidence-based psychotherapies. I am licensed in NY, CA, NJ, and CT.

That is why I provide a professional and empathetic space for consultation and treatment; everyone should be comfortable seeking the care they feel they need. I also utilize telepsychiatry when appropriate to increase access to care. I am dual board certified in adult general psychiatry and addiction. I have also specialized in clinical training in sex therapy and I am affiliated with NYU's Program in Human Sexuality. I offer both treatment for patients and supervision for other mental health professionals.

Dolores earned her doctorate at New York University, specializing in psychopharmacology for mood and anxiety disorders, attentional issues, and enhancing wellness. Dolores has a treatment philosophy geared towards helping all of her clients maximize their potential in all spheres of life (personal, professional, and creative). She provides a customized approach individualized for each client. Dolores focuses on the individual as a whole to promote life satisfaction.

I have successfully treated patients who suffer from Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Insomnia, Bipolar Disorder, Dementia, Hallucinations and Delusions as well as addiction and alcoholism. I have worked with patients as young as 2 years old and as old as 105 years old.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist and former chief resident of the Columbia adult psychiatry program. I also completed my Child and Adolescent Psychiatry training at the combined Cornell-Columbia New York Presbyterian Hospital program. I provide therapy and medication management for a variety of issues related to anxiety, relationships, depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and ADHD. I am a board-certified psychiatrist, specializing in the treatment of mood, anxiety, attention, and eating disorders in adults. I take a patient-centered approach to treatment, offering psychopharmacology and an array of specialized psychotherapeutic techniques. I often work closely with other clinicians as well, to provide a team-based approach to treatment. I currently serve as an assistant professor of psychiatry at Mount Sinai. Dr. Ankur Upadhyay is a licensed Psychiatrist. He provides psychiatric care supported by evidence based medical practices, highlighted by his experience with mindfulness based therapies and psychoanalysis. His journey started in India where he gained knowledge in spirituality and the practice of mindful living. He has since completed his Psychiatry residency training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (Morningside-West Hospitals), and treated patients from diverse backgrounds. He has also completed training in the Intensive Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy program at William Alanson White Institute in NYC.
