Mr. Wisher is a nurse practitioner in both Psychiatry and Medicine. He has worked in both disciplines for over twenty years. Michael has experience in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy. Mr. Wisher is an active member of the Neuroscience Education Institute, with certification in the Master Psychopharmacology program also membership in Psychopharmacology Institute and The Psychiatry Education Forum Academy. I am a board certified family psychiatric /mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), with prescriptive privileges. I graduated from Adelphi University, cum laude, with a BSN and earned my MS, NP from Stony Brook University, where I was awarded distinction for Overall Excellence in Psychiatric/Mental Health and inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society.

My years of professional experience in both psychiatry and psychotherapy taught me that there is more to the medical issues that we experience. I am a Board Certified Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner which includes care of: Pediatrics- ages 4- 12, teens 13- 18, adults and seniors. Are you looking for a provider who will listen, not just prescribe and send you on your way? I provide a comprehensive evaluation and will initiate medication management on your first visit. Follow up appointments consist of medication management as well as counseling, however, should you already have a therapist I can augment this or provide you with medications only. I have almost 20 years of clinical experience with psychopharmacology and will work with you until we reach symptom control.

Jennifer Serrentino, MD is a board certified psychiatrist who has been practicing psychiatry for over nineteen years. She received her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1997. Dr. Serrentino performed her psychiatry residency at the Bellevue Hospital Center/New York University program where she was appointed chief resident in her graduating year. Upon graduation in 2001, she stayed on as an attending psychiatrist in the Bellevue Hospital Psychiatric Outpatient Department.
