I have worked in numerous inpatient settings including New York Presbyterian’s Division of Psychiatry and have over fifteen years of experience providing psychiatric care across the lifespan. Specializing in therapy and medication management, I use a holistic and integrative approach to diagnose and treat anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions.

Many people experiencing emotional distress seek a conversation about whether medication or psychotherapy might be a good idea to include in their treatment plan. The conversation begins with building a trusting relationship, followed by the most accurate diagnosis possible. My approach is one of restraint, and my default is to base the treatment primarily on skills and lifestyle changes that evolve in psychotherapy. I love to see pharmacology prove to be an only temporary part of the recovery process.

Davette is a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of NC. She graduated from Winston Salem State University in Winston Salem NC with her family medicine studies and from Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston SC with her psychiatric study. Davette has over 18 years of nursing experience in cardiology, psychiatry, and family practice. Her current specialty focuses on family psychiatry across all ages.

Laura Nazzaro, PMHNP has over 10 years experience in the field of Psychiatric Mental-Health Nursing and received certification as a Child/Adolescent Psychiatric/Mental Health and Family Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2011. She received her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Psychology from Boston University and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from University of Illinois at Chicago with an emphasis on evaluation, assessment, diagnosis and medication management of a wide range of psychiatric/mental health disorders.

I'm Gabriella, and I am an ANCC board-certified PMHNP. I have a passion for high-quality, empathetic, and holistic care of individuals struggling with their mental health and believe that the most important member of the collaborative care team is the patient. I obtained my masters in nursing from South College of Knoxville, TN. Prior to that, I held a BSN and BS in Psychology from Western Carolina University. I have a background in inpatient psychiatric nursing where I cared for individuals struggling with many different mental health challenges ranging from substance abuse to mood disorders and high-acuity psychotic disorder.

I am a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst in Chapel Hill with 25 years experience helping people to heal and transform emotional distress by talking freely and deeply about their lives. I use a person centered approach in order to meet the individualized needs of each client. I graduated from University of Texas in Austin with a Bachelor in Nursing and received a post masters certificate as a psychiatric nurse practitioner from Vanderbilt university. I retired from active duty 2016.

I am a double board-certified psychiatrist with extensive training in psychosomatic medicine allowing me to take into account one’s mental and physical health to provide a whole-body approach to treatment. I treat a wide array of conditions; however focus on issues with depression, anxiety and role transitions. My mission is to collaborate with you, and to come up with an individualized treatment plan. I am a psychiatric PA with over 9 years of inpatient and outpatient mental health experience. I offer telehealth (virtual) services to residents of North Carolina ages 18+. Services include medication management for common mental health problems ranging from depression and anxiety to opiate and alcohol addiction.

Sometimes medication therapy is warranted for symptoms related to depressive, anxiety, OCD and PTSD disorders. Medication therapy can be effective to treat imbalances in the brain's circuitry and provide relief of physical symptoms that can occur with psychiatric conditions.
