I moved into psychiatry from a pediatrics background and enjoy working with children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 25 years old and under) on developing a therapeutic relationship that involves counseling and, when appropriate, medication management. I work with Dr. Robin Casey collaboratively within her practice and also embrace an integrative and holistic approach to patient health. I am currently seeing all my patients via telemedicine to help keep everyone safe during COVID. Accepting New Patients (In-person & Virtual). Located in North Hills neighborhood of Raleigh. A Board Certified physician, Dr Lake offers the full spectrum of medications and psychotherapy. This includes specialties in adolescent & adult ADHD, treatment of older adults (memory/cognitive issues), college/graduate students, opioid/alcohol use issues, depression, anxiety, and sleep disorders.

Dr. Jane Sanders specializes in educating patients about differential diagnoses, how different medications work, and realistic results to expect with pharmacologic treatment. She approaches each case with equal parts knowledge, open mind, and common sense. Her patients include those who have been through the ringer with multiple failed treatments, as well as patients who are wary of starting medications. At this time, she only sees adult patients, 18yo and up.

Please note that appointments for this practice are typically 45 minutes in length to incorporate ample time for communication and therapy in addition to medication management.

Dr. Katherine Laubach is a Psychiatrist who has been practicing in North Carolina since 2021. Dr. Laubach is passionate about patient centered care and focuses on treating each patient as an individual who has their own unique needs. As a part of her philosophy of patient centered care, she does not typically prescribe the chronic use of benzodiazepines (Xanax, Ativan, Valium, Klonopin, etc) and if obtaining a prescription for this type of medication is your primary reason for seeking a psychiatrist, she may not be the best fit for you and your goals. Of note, as a standard of practice, Dr. Laubach does not complete forms.

She has over 10 years of experience working with teens, adults, and seniors.

Alina Lis is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over five years of experience working as a nurse, with the majority of that time spent in inpatient medical oncology/hospice and substance abuse treatment. Alina earned her Master of Science degree from Walden University after receiving an undergraduate nursing degree from Rasmussen College.
