Medications are only one tool we have in assisting us with mental health disorders. I believe if you are on meds, then you should also be in therapy. Medications should be prescribed in the lowest amount in number and dosage that is effective, and then challenged as one progresses towards wellness. New patients must have discharge summaries forwarded by their previous provider before their first appointment.
