Dr. Raluca Radulescu, a Board Certified psychiatrist in the area of General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, heads our practice. She completed her training in Child Psychiatry at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center-Westchester Division. She provides psychiatric services to children, adolescents and adults. We have several licensed clinicians with extensive clinical experience in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, and private practice working with adults, adolescents, children and families. Our warm, highly qualified professionals are dedicated to providing quality, goal-oriented care tailored to your individual needs using a variety of patient-centered approaches.

I have the most experience working with the adult population. My ideal client is not someone with a specific diagnosis or past experience. My ideal client is someone who is battling something within them and is seeking a helping hand to hold on. Treatment with the most appropriate medication can help a person overcome, and persevere. At the present time, my practice is closed to referrals........ After practicing for over forty years, I still love my work. It is a privilege to become closely involved with my patients and their challenges. I believe I bring a special blend of intellectual rigor and emotional warmth into every treatment. No two patients are the same, therefore each treatment has to be tailor-made to your individual needs. I much prefer to do "talk therapy", combined, if needed, with medication, rather than psychopharmacology alone.

There is no such thing as an "ideal client." Each individual is unique, and care will be tailored to fit patient needs.

I see clients for med evals & management, 2nd opinions and robust patient edu. My clients are wide-ranging: some are brand new to treatment; others have chronic mental illness, whether stable or during an acute episode; I accept pt's looking for a f/u provider after a psych hospitalization; I accept new-onset mental illness, whether due to substance use, an acute stressor or another factors. Some pts who anticipate difficult upcoming life-changes, like a pregnancy, job change, in-laws moving in, etc., may choose to see me prophylactically — often, some of these patients find quick relief just knowing there’s a plan in place.

Dr. Irene Mazur graduated with honors from the Ternopol Medical School in Ternopol, Ukraine, in 1992. After her move to the US, she completed a Psychiatry Residency program and a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship in in UMDNJ, Piscataway, NJ. Her area of expertise include: autism, aggression, developmental delay, ADHD, depression, and PTSD. In 2023, Dr. Mazur had received well-deserved recognition and was acknowledged as a Top Pinnacle Professional for her contributions to the field of Psychiatry.
