Michelle is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry. She has many years of experience working in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. Her Masters Degree is from Pace University. Michelle is a trauma-informed provider with extensive experience as the Director of Nursing in a Correctional facility and understands First Responders, Veterans, and their challenges.

I am committed to helping people work towards relief from emotional difficulties and towards reaching their best potentials. To do so, I focus on learning about you as an individual rather than focusing on one or two symptoms in isolation. In every encounter, my goal is to understand where you are coming from by listening carefully and without assigning "good" or "bad" labels. When that understanding is gained, I find the most appropriate and helpful tools to help, whether it's therapy, medications or both.

Dr. Mohammed is well known in the community for his empathetic manner, and his ability to develop a therapeutic relationship with his patients. He can work with patients from all age groups, including children with special needs. Dr. Mohammed is fluent in English, Hindi and Urdu and welcomes patients of all ages, genders, and sexual orientations.

Dr. Krakower is an Associate Professor in Psychiatry at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist and formerly served as Unit Chief of Psychiatry at Northwell Health / Zucker Hillside Hospital. He is internationally recognized for his work with patients suffering from trauma, anxiety, video gaming, head injuries, coronavirus recovery, and addiction. He has provided expert opinion for hundreds of studies worldwide. He is recognized as a top physician by SuperDoctors and was a group recipient of the the Catchers in the Rye Humanitarian Award.

What draws me to this work is one's ability to change through insight and collaboration with another, that getting to know one's inner, and often unconscious, life over time can lead to changes within and without. The work also privileges one's emotions and emotional narrative, which I think is often not enough of a focus in today's society and in some cultures.

I am board-certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions and addiction issues. I have completed fellowship at the Institute of Psychoanalytic Education. I have extensive experience in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy and am committed to providing compassionate, top quality mental health care and addiction problems that is customized to meet each of my patient's individual needs. Initial consultation consists of a comprehensive psychiatric assessment. I will also carefully screen for commonly missed coexisting conditions.

I am a dual certified nurse practitioner, specializing in psychiatry. I utilize an integrative approach of prescribing medication, as appropriate, as well as psychotherapy to maximize symptom relief and restore quality of life. Dr. Zelimir Vukasin is an adult psychiatrist. He completed his psychiatric residency training at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. He also completed an internal medicine residency at New York Hospital, Medical Center of Queens. Dr. Vukasin received his medical degree from the University of Zagreb medical school in Croatia. He has practiced in various setting over his career including inpatient psychiatry, long term care, private practice, and non-profit outpatient psychiatric programs. He has more than 31 years of experience providing patients with compassionate psychiatric care through medication management.

I will try to understand you and we will develop a treatment plan best suited to your needs. My goal is to bring hope to my clients, and help them understand and cope better with the people and life situations associated with the onset of their symptoms. I am a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist who specializes in different forms of psychotherapy--cognitive behavioral (CBT), metacognitive (MCT), interpersonal (IPT), psychodynamic, and supportive therapy--in addition to pharmacology to augment psychotherapy only when the need arises. I enjoy a diverse, multicultural client base and speak several languages.

Dr. Bajpayi has been associated with various hospitals in NY- North Shore LIJ, NY Methodist Hospital, Long Island College Hospital, VA Northport and South Oaks Hospital.Dr Bajpayi owns a private practice Evolve Psychiatry.

Dr. Ankur Upadhyay is a licensed Psychiatrist. He provides psychiatric care supported by evidence based medical practices, highlighted by his experience with mindfulness based therapies and psychoanalysis. His journey started in India where he gained knowledge in spirituality and the practice of mindful living. He has since completed his Psychiatry residency training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (Morningside-West Hospitals), and treated patients from diverse backgrounds. He has also completed training in the Intensive Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy program at William Alanson White Institute in NYC.

I am a Board Certified psychiatrist with over twenty-five years of clinical experience since my graduation from residency, and I maintain practices in psychiatry in New York City (in person or telemedicine Tuesday-Thursday), Sag Harbor Village (in person or telemedicine Friday), and Litchfield County, Connecticut (telemedicine only). Areas of expertise include psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, in-home and nursing home consultations and management, and work with patients suffering from medical illness; I have completed formal fellowships in these areas at Cornell, Columbia, and Memorial Sloan Kettering.

I am a therapist first and foremost. I am also a Mt Sinai and NYU-trained psychiatrist, and can prescribe medication when appropriate. I have over 10 years experience working with children (tweens and up) and adults (individuals and couples).

I believe effective treatment is a collaborative process. For over a decade, I have been helping individuals with a wide range of emotional difficulties, including anxiety disorders and depressive disorders as well as work and relationship problems, low self-esteem and low self-confidence. Individuals who come for help may not fully understand the nature of their difficulties, only that something is not quite right. Through a careful and thorough evaluation, we will work jointly to clarify your present concerns and determine a treatment modality to best address them, which may include psychotherapy and/or medications.
