I am board certified in both general psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry. As such, I not only see children and adolescents but also young adults. I prefer to work with this age group but I will consider working with middle-aged adults as long as it is a good "fit" for my practice. Also please know that my practice is not in any insurance networks, though we will submit all billing to your insurance so that you can collect any out-of-network benefits. I am comfortable diagnosing and treating ADHD & behavioral disorders, depression & other mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and autism spectrum disorder.

I treat a wide spectrum of psychiatric conditions including mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, cognitive and memory problems, and persistent psychotic illnesses such as schizophrenia. I have extensive experience treating the lasting effects of traumatic experiences and helping individuals overcome grief. My practice also includes diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders in adults (e.g., bulimia). Although my practice is guided by research on the most effective treatments, I tailor my treatment recommendations to the individual's specific circumstances.

I take a comprehensive and holistic approach to mental health emphasizing care of the mind and body. As a provider who is board certified in psychiatric mental health and primary care, I am equipped to partner with my clients to meet their psychological and medical needs with an open mind. I recognize the profound impact that mental health has on physical health, as well as the physical health impact on mental health. I partner with clients using psychodynamic therapy and evidence-based pharmacology. In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors, running and biking, reading, cooking, and spending time with my dog.

Dr. Michael Colin is a board-certified, licensed adult psychiatrist in private clinical practice in Chelsea Manhattan at London Terrace Psychiatry. He completed his psychiatric residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in New York City with a focus on addiction psychiatry and the psychoanalytic fellowship at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute. Dr. Colin received his Doctor of Medicine degree at Sackler School of Medicine. He graduated from Boston University majoring in psychology and biology as well as a post-baccalaureate program at Columbia University.

I'm Dr. Alden Bush, a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I specialize in working with adults dealing with mental health issues like ADHD, trauma, depression, anxiety, and insomnia. I offer medication services only and am fully bilingual in English/Spanish. Currently, I only see patients virtually. It's important to note that I am not a Psychiatrist (MD), but I am a prescribing clinician in Psychiatry. I do NOT provide psychotherapy. Elizabeth Mastro, NPP ANCC Board Certified Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner -Elizabeth received her Master's Degree and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification from Sage Graduate School. She has experience working in clinic settings with chronically mentally ill adults as well as in private practice providing psychopharmacology and therapy addressing all facets of mental health disorders.

I completed my psychiatry training at Johns Hopkins University and my acute care training at New York University where I have been an adjunct professor since 2017. I am a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist based in Westchester, New York. My practice is guided by warmth and compassion to further my understanding of my patients. Dr. Weiss is a board-certified Staff Psychiatrist at Talkiatry with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric conditions including: depression and bipolar spectrum disorders; anxiety; stress and adjustment problems; ADD/ADHD; maternal mental health; OCD; and other disorders. He has extensive experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, college and graduate students, creative professionals, and the range of working adults. For the past decade, and prior to joining the staff of Talkiatry, Dr. Weiss worked at The New School as the university’s staff psychiatrist.

Some adults with ADHD did not have symptoms in childhood or were not diagnosed. So ADHD in adults may go undetected. Untreated ADHD can have catastrophic consequences for an adult’s career and relationships. In some cases, ADHD may manifest as another problem, such as depression or substance abuse. For people with ADHD, not taking medication is often more dangerous than using medication.ADHD is a disease, but it also comes with its own unique set of skills—high energy, creativity, a desire to try new things, and much more. People with ADHD can and do succeed at the highest levels in every profession.
