I am an experienced Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master's Degree in Nursing from Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing. I was honored to receive Northwell Health’s Advanced Clinical Providers Recognition Award in the Department of Psychiatry in 2019. I work with a wide range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, panic, obsessive compulsive disorder, post traumatic stress disorder and insomnia.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist, specializing in the treatment of mood, anxiety, attention, and eating disorders in adults. I take a patient-centered approach to treatment, offering psychopharmacology and an array of specialized psychotherapeutic techniques. My goal is primarily to work with individuals to develop treatment plans that are comfortable and effective over the long term. I often work closely with other clinicians as well, to provide a team-based approach to treatment. I currently serve as an assistant professor of psychiatry at Mount Sinai. I have done additional training at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute.

I am an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I received my Master of Science in Nursing at D’Youville University in Buffalo, New York. Prior to obtaining my master’s degree, I acquired my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The State University of New York at Buffalo, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Buffalo State University.

As a double-boarded neurologist and psychiatrist, my goal is to improve one's emotional well-being by combining my understanding of the mind-brain interface and each person's unique circumstances to create an individualized, integrative treatment plan. I have experience with treatment of intractable depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, functional neurological disorders (FND) including non-epileptic seizures (NES), somatic symptom disorder, chronic pain, and ADHD. I use a combination of both individual psychotherapy and medication management to serve the needs of my patients.

I have 25+ years of experience as a clinical psychiatrist, with specialties in depression, anxiety, ADHD and OCD. As a Harvard Medical School Associate Professor of Psychiatry, I published many brain imaging research studies of cognitive and emotional functioning, and have particular expertise in diagnosing and treating neuropsychiatric disorders. I treat children, adolescents and adults. In addition to pioneering state-of-the-art treatments including psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and NeuroStar transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), I offer GeneSight pharmacogenetic testing to optimize medication choices.

Dr. Amber Blue is a board-certified psychiatrist trained in Adult Psychiatry. She completed her residency at Yale University. She offers medication management in 30-minute follow-up visits informed by her psychotherapy experience. Occasionally she may believe additional therapy would be beneficial and therefore recommend you add a therapist to your care team for the best results.

Dr. Syed Abbasi is an adult psychiatrist who completed his undergraduate education at Rutgers University and earned his medical degree at Ross University. He completed his psychiatry residency training at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center with training at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, additionally as Chief Resident at Columbia University's Outpatient Adult Psychiatry Eye-6 clinic.

I have a post-masters certificate in child and adolescent therapy and have trained at the Beck Institute of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in utilizing CBT for anxiety and mood disorders. I have received certification in Exposure Response Prevention from the University of Pennsylvania for the treatment of OCD. I have also received training in parent management training (PMT) at the Yale Parenting Center.
