Fahimir Jean-Baptiste, is an ANCC board certified Psychiatrist Mental Nurse Practitioner. Fahimir has her Master of science in Nursing from Hofstra University School and has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Molloy College. Her clinical career took her on a journey through the healthcare system, from inpatient to outpatient settings. She manages and treats a wide range of mental health concerns including Major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, and ADHD.

I believe in treating people like human beings and looking at the whole picture. Often patients who use substances are self medicating another problem. I would like to help them get to the root of that problem. So many providers only look at one problem while ignoring the rest. I fiercely believe in patient centered care. You are the one who knows what you need. I'm here to be your guide but ultimately it's up to you.

I am a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric Mental Health and Adult Health Care in New York State, and now presiding at SilverLife NP Care. I have been trained and specialized in QEEG, Neurofeedback, Medication Management, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Trans-cranial Magnetic Stimulate Therapy. Having believed that brain health is connected to state of total physical, mental, and social well-being, I will develop and customize a unique treatment plan for each individual recovery/remission, and provide the best quality care to all my clients.

I am a trained Doctor of Nursing Practice, licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and Assistant Professor. I assess, diagnose, prescribe, and treat individuals with mental health needs across the lifespan. I use integrative medicine, an evidence-based, patient-centered approach fusing conventional and complementary interventions together to address the needs of the "whole person." I combine armamentarium of body, psyche, and collective knowledge through relationships and connections within the Universe missioned to unearth deeply rooted issues, promoting healing rather than "band-aiding symptoms."

I completed my psychiatric nurse practitioner training at NYU with a clinical focus in child/adolescent psychiatry. Since then I have worked extensively with adolescents coming out of intensive care programs for psychosis and children/adolescents with neurodiversity. I am also an adjunct faculty at NYU School of Nursing teaching inpatient psychiatric clinicals. I provide various psychiatric assessment and treatment, including psychiatric evaluation, medication management, individual therapy, school collorations and genetic testing. A typical initial evaluation is 90 minutes and the follow-ups are 30 minutes.

She utilizes rational emotive behavior therapy and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing alongside medication management to tailor each client’s treatment plan.

Dr. Coleman’s approach to treatment begins with an understanding that each client is a unique and dynamic individual deserving of the highest-quality of competent, compassionate, and evidence-based psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic care. Recommended treatment options are based upon a continual review of the highest-level of scholarly articles in order to ascertain which research-validated treatment interventions are best suited to the client’s individual holistic (physical, intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, vocational, and environmental) wellness needs.

Toba Omidiji is my name and I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I started my mental health journey in a State Facility about thirteen years ago. However, over the years my roles have changed, and I have had the opportunity to work in many outpatient and online settings. I’m experienced working with patients with history of Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, mood disorders, eating disorders, ADHD, bipolar and schizophrenia. My communication style is calm and assertive, and I am always open to feedback.

My goal is to create an environment that is comfortable, empathetic, safe, and non-judgmental. My approach is informed by my work as a public interest attorney and witnessing the ways in which many aspects of life (housing, work, economic security, racial identity, gender identity, and sexuality) impact mental health. I take a strength-based approach that is client-centered and work with clients to determine what tools work best for them at the time. Healing is not always linear. I hope to create a space that feels supportive no matter where a person is in their journey.
