I am a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist and I believe in a holistic approach, incorporating physical and mental health. I combine up-to-date medical treatment with talk therapy to create a personalized plan to address an individual’s complaints and work collaboratively with patients and families to create a treatment plan that is driven by results. I attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completed psychiatry training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia University/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

As a psychoanalytically trained psychiatrist, I provide comprehensive treatment for a variety of mental health problems informed by the view of each person as an integrated body/mind/brain individual. For over a decade, I have been helping individuals with a wide range of emotional difficulties, including anxiety disorders and depressive disorders as well as work and relationship problems, low self-esteem and low self-confidence. Kristoffer Acasio is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. Kristoffer strives to build a collaborative relationship with each patient while empowering them to achieve their personal goals. He has experience working with diverse populations to develop effective, well-rounded treatment plans. Kristoffer uses cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and supportive therapy. He helps his patients identify their feelings and symptoms, then guides them in learning new ways to manage those symptoms through medication management and therapy. Ashley Mathai is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. Ashley partners with her patients to help them achieve their goals by providing holistic, personalized mental health care. During sessions, patients can expect active listening, respect, empathy, collaboration, and, most importantly, trust. She aims to support her patients so they can have holistic, culturally competent, wellness-focused services.

I'm a board-certified, Cornell and Columbia-trained psychiatrist with expertise in treating mood, anxiety, attention, personality and psychotic disorders. I work extensively with individuals who are struggling with self-esteem, relationship issues, career/family balance, grief, trauma and life transitions. I also have specialty reproductive psychiatry training from the Columbia Women's clinic and have a special interest in pregnancy, postpartum depression, infertility, miscarriage, infant loss and parenting issues.
