Hello, I look forward to meeting you! My name is Jessica and I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner In the state of New Jersey. I specialize in Anxiety, Chronic Illness, Depression, Insomnia/Sleep Issues, Loss, Grief and Bereavement, Life Transitions, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Race/Cultural Identity and Stress Management. I work with an amazing group of colleagues at Lavender, an online psychiatry and therapy office, where we believe psychiatric care shouldn't be expensive nor impossible to access.

I have been in practice for over 10 years and specialize in medication treatments for ADHD, Oppositional defiant disorder, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, Autism spectrum disorder and tic disorders. I pursue a working alliance with families, schools, therapists, and pediatricians, including the review of prior assessments, as the basis of the treatment plan. My approach is to start with a thorough diagnosis and formulate a plan that includes medications, psychotherapy, diet, exercise, sleep hygiene, lab work and other lifestyle modifications to provide an individual treatment plan for each of my patients.

I have been providing proficient psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treating diverse psychiatric conditions across the lifespan since June 2021. I provide initial assessments and follow-ups, medication management, hospital ER psychiatric liaison consultation, and collaborative care. I have over twenty-five years of experience in psychiatric nursing care, managing patients with mental health crises, and caring for clients in both short and long-term settings. My professional strengths include the use of evidence-based treatment approaches.

I am a board-certified Nurse Practitioner and serve New Jersey & New York with my mind, body, and spirit-centered philosophy of mental health care. Focusing on psychiatric drugs, I am dedicated to improving my patients 'lives in some tangible way.

Vody Vincent is board-certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She has been working in the mental health/psychiatric field for over two decades. She has extensive experience working with individuals dealing with various mental disorders. Vody has worked with children, adolescents and adults with psychiatric illnesses such as: depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, eating disorder and other mental health issues. She uses a holistic approach in treating her clients and connects well with them through her altruistic and compassionate nature.
