Therapy is a gateway to a new understanding of your life, your relationships, your thoughts, your emotions, and your overall well-being. I am a psychiatrist and neurobiologist with education from Stanford (residency), UC San Diego (MD and PhD), and Columbia University (BA) who specializes in psychotherapy and medication management for anxiety and depression. It is my goal to help you on your journey for deeper meaning in your relationships and professional life. This work begins with an open ended exploration, defining (or re-defining) fulfilling personal goals, and identifying patterns that are setting you back.
I provide psychodynamic psychotherapy (open-ended talk therapy) which includes elements of CBT, DBT, and psychoanalysis as well as medication education and management for those who would benefit from pharmacology.
