I have experience in treating severe mental illness: schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorders, bipolar disorders, major depressive disorder and OCD. I also treat anxiety disorders, including PTSD. Kacy Walther is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Kacy started her career working in behavioral health in 2010. Kacy enjoys helping patients achieve the best possible outcome in their mental health care to promote healing and enhance quality of life through medication management and other lifestyle modifications.

Sarah Schuetz is a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner currently practicing in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Mount Marty University. She has over 10 years experience in the mental health field. She takes pride in using a holistic approach with her clients and uses a patient-centered model of care, which allows her to identify the emotional, physical, and mental health needs of each client. Sarah understands that everyone she treats is unique and has their own story.

I have been providing medical care for over 20 years. My experience is extensive beginning with hospital Emergency room, Surgical and Medical as well as Cancer patients. My love for people and learning motivated me to continue my education and I hold several certifications. Many years of my career has been caring for Women in all phases of life. Through active listening and thoughtful questioning I deliver individualized and high quality care. My goal is to help you to feel safe and comfortable, even when life is difficult to understand.

Dr. Hovav has a deep understanding of the biological, psychological and social components of mental illness and treats her patients using evidence-based medicine combined with psychotherapy. For treatment-resistant disorders, she is known to think outside the box with creative psychopharmacology. She graduated medical school, completed an internship in Internal Medicine, then a Postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA, and finally a Psychiatry Residency at Creighton Univ. She was previously a Medical Director of Behavioral Medicine and is currently in private practice. She has several publications in leading peer-reviewed medical journals.

Dawn Slominski is a nurse practitioner with a doctorate degree specializing in behavioral/mental health treatment. She has more than 5 years of experience as a nurse practitioner, 25+ years in the nursing field. Dawn believes in providing individualized treatment plans based on the unique circumstances of each client. She believes people have innate healing abilities, clients are people not illnesses, recovery involves addressing causes not just symptoms, and healing takes a collaborative approach. She seeks to empower individuals and families through intervention, treatment, education, support, and advocacy. Ages 17 years and up.

I am experienced and very comfortable working with older children, adolescents/teens, and adults. I become a partner with each patient and listen to what their concerns and issues are. We then create a plan that both of us are comfortable with and feel confident about as we move forward with treatment. For those that are interested in medication treatment options - I am always eager to help patients make decisions related to this, and will provide education on the benefits/risks of each option.

I am passionate about listening to you and working together with you to develop a plan that will best suit you. My initial evaluations are 60 minutes and follow ups are 30 minutes. I have over 5 years of mental health experience and over a decade of experience in the healthcare field. I have taken care of children, adolescents, adults and geriatric clients in acute crisis care who have various mental illness.
