I specialize in working with clients who are going through some trying time in their lives - relationship stress/breakup, career frustration, health problems, or any life crisis. Sometimes this is a new issue and for others it can be a new event that triggers a long-standing issue. Either way, I work to stabilize symptoms as quickly as possible with medications as needed but also through diet and exercise. I then try to teach my clients how to avoid a return of their symptoms.

I am board-certified in both Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry. I completed my residency in Adult Psychiatry at the University of Maryland Medical Center and my fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Additionally, I am certified by the Specialist Training Authority of the Medical Royal Colleges, UK, as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. With extensive experience in managing mental health concerns, I am dedicated to helping my patients lead healthy, balanced lives.

Dr. Bauer practices General Adult Psychiatry. His undergraduate degree, as well as his medical degree, were completed at Michigan State University. After obtaining his medical degree, he completed a four-year residency in Psychiatry with Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. During his last year of residency he was the Chief Resident of Psychiatry at Henry Ford Health System. After graduating residency, Dr. Bauer began his employment with Henry Ford Health System at their inpatient psychiatric facility, Kingswood Hospital.

Dr. Jane Sanders specializes in educating patients about differential diagnoses, how different medications work, and realistic results to expect with pharmacologic treatment. She approaches each case with equal parts knowledge, open mind, and common sense. Her patients include those who have been through the ringer with multiple failed treatments, as well as patients who are wary of starting medications. At this time, she only sees adult patients, 18yo and up.

Taquita is a dual-certified family nurse practitioner and psychiatric mental health in the state of North Carolina and Georgia. She graduated from South University in Savannah, GA with her family medicine studies and from Maryville University in St. Louis, MI with her psychiatric study. Taquita has over 12 years of emergency/trauma experience, which has helped with responding to urgent treatment, severe medical conditions, and crisis stabilization. Her current specialty focuses on family psychiatry across all ages. Taquita is an advocate for innovations in healthcare and suicide prevention.
