I truly care about my patients. I am a Certified Integrative Medicine Provider with a deep passion for functional & holistic medicine modalities. I seek to find root causes while using medication as a tool. I offer both telehealth & in-person appointments (including after-hours). I treat a wide variety of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, psychosis, & addiction, including the use of Suboxone.

Velgan Rodriguez is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. She received her bachelor's degree from The State University of New York at Purchase, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Hartwick College, and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in psychiatric mental health at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Velgan has worked as a RN at Rikers Island correctional facility and the Durham County Detention Facility. She also worked as a critical care RN for The Durham VA Medical System, Duke University Hospital & UNC Medical Center Intensive Care Units

Dr. Shawn Faust, DNP, PMHNP-BC is a distinguished Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who brings a unique and patient-centric approach to the field of mental health. His philosophy centers around the belief that individuals are experts in their own experiences, and collaboration between the patient and their mental health provider is essential for effective and personalized treatment. He believes that informed patients are better equipped to navigate their unique mental health challenges. Thus, treatment with Dr. Faust often involves teaching patients about their diagnosis and discussing the pros and cons of various treatment options.

Recovery is not one size fits all and we are all more than a diagnosis. For many people medication can be an important piece of the wellness puzzle.  I look forward to being able to help my patients improve their quality of life with  personalized care and responsible use of medication.

Etteilla is my mother's name, spelled backward. Her tragic death inspired me to create a platform to help those who feel trapped and lost. I'm dual certified In psychiatric care and family medicine. I have 26 years of medical experience and provide compassionate and comprehensive mental health care. With a deep understanding of the human mind and a passion for helping others, I strive to empower individuals on their journey toward mental well-being and a purpose-filled life.

In the past thirteen years I've primarily focused on providing perinatal and postnatal care. As a mother myself, I can offer a unique perspective and support for each of your unique needs.
