Emily has lived between Wyoming and Alaska the last 20 years. She has settled permanently in WY, raising her family there and enjoying all the outdoor adventures it has to offer. She graduated from University of Wyoming for her BSN and Frontier Nursing University with a MSN, now practicing as a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. ​

Front Range Family Psychiatry cares for the mental health for the whole family. Children through adults are seen in rural Choteau, Montana. We offer local psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management and some therapy in a discrete location. All major insurances are accepted. There are now three Psych NPs to provide services.

My approach is integrative, which means that treatment with medications may be combined with non-medication options, such as mindfulness-based interventions, life-style optimization, and nutritional supplementation. Together, we will develop an individualized well-being plan, which will incorporate your unique goals, and importantly, your perspective on health. My role is to offer these treatment options to you, and guide you as you make the decisions about which of these is aligned with your goals. All treatment options are evidence-informed, based on the medical and scientific literature.

With a robust foundation in medical education & enriched by my experiences as a mother & a leader, I bring a distinct & empathetic perspective to my practice. Specializing in pediatric & perinatal psychiatry, I extend my support to children, adolescents, & women grappling with a spectrum of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, PTSD, postpartum depression, ADHD, & bipolar disorder.
