Brenda has been a nurse for 28 years and a Nurse Practitioner for 15 years. Her practitioner education is from Indiana Wesleyan University- Marion, Indiana and University of Missouri- St. Louis. She has a collaborative practice in St. Louis and surrounding cities in Mo. and is also licensed in Arizona, Kansas and Virgina. Her goal is to partner with you to create a treatment plan that improves your mental and physical health, enhancing your quality of life.

Dr. Throop is expanding her current private practice and will be primarily telemedicine based. Dr. Throop’s approach is patient-centered/patient-focused. Patient-centered care is a concept that gives primacy to the voice and concerns of the person using the health care service. The goal is to enable and empower patients to better appreciate, and play an active role in their mental health. Dr. Throop aims to take a holistic approach to mental health. Beth Glenn, PMHNP Beth Glenn is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Beth has worked with children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric behavioral health patients throughout her nursing career beginning in 2010 and obtained her Master's in Science of Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University in 2022. Beth practices in general psychiatry, including (but not limited to) the treatment of depression, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and anxiety with an emphasis on the geriatric population and co-occurring major neurocognitive disorders such as dementia.

She practices general psychiatry with an emphasis on adult populations, including the treatment of depression, bipolar, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, insomnia, PTSD, trauma, eating disorders, and the co-occurring mental health complications of Type 1 Diabetes. Services include brief psychotherapy and psychopharmacologic management.
