As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I have experience treating adolescents and young adults. We are happy to announce that we will begin seeing those aged 14 and older, including adults, for psychiatric management! I specialize in treatment of the following mental health diagnosis: Depression, Gender Dysphoria, Body Dysmorphia, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, ADHD, Anxiety, Trauma, Personality Disorders and Psychosis. Please note, we do not treat active eating disorders or substance abuse at this time.
I provide comprehensive Initial Psychiatric Evaluations to determine the needs and concerns of my patients. We then discuss both with the patient and parent (if under the age of 18) possible medication options and treatment course/duration in an outpatient setting to best address the needs of the patient and family. Supportive psychotherapy may be provided.
