I am Licensed and Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health NP in Adult, Adolescent, and Child Psychiatry. I believe that every patient deserves the best mental health care, and it's my job to deliver it! I pride myself on going the extra mile to provide research-driven holistic care. Starting with a complete/comprehensive Initial Psychiatric Evaluation and ensuring my patient receive their medication on time. I treat Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, ADHD, Psychotic disorders, PTSD and others conditions ... I am experienced with outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization. I also provide brief CBT, DBT, general therapy.

Currently accepting new patient consultations (Updated January 2024). I believe my role as a Psychiatrist is not to cure but instead to join my patients on their unique paths to mental wellness. Having trained at the University of Michigan, I take an evidence-based approach to mental health. However, in addition to traditional medication management, I have studied multiple forms of psychotherapy, opened myself to wellness-based methods, explored complex topics with patients from race to spirituality, and remain open to learning more approaches to mental healthcare.

The goal of good therapy is to find ways to love, work, and play through self-understanding. Taking the first step is often the hardest. I offer a safe and confidential forum for self-learning at a pace and manner best suited to you. My training and experience spans psychodynamic therapy, psychoanalysis, overseeing a large outpatient psychiatric clinic, training of residents and interns, and psychoanalytic education and supervision. I have been privileged to assist people for over 30 years. I am on professional committees, and teach at the University of Michigan and at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor.

My practice model is holistic and patient centered. I'm currently doing a fellowship in functional and integrative psychiatry. I offer looking at possible root causes of declining mental health in addition to treatment with psychopharmacology. Initial visit incudes history as well as considering diet, lifestyle, exercise, sleep, and spirituality. Addressing all of these aspects holistically increases your chances of improving your mental health. When indicated, I may check labs or refer to TMS or Spravato. We also offer genesight testing here at the office.

Many people seek professional help when they are going through psychological crisis. I will work with you to support and guide you through overcoming the crisis, addressing and treating associated symptoms, while helping you to understand the underlying causes of the crisis and ways to better cope moving forward. In the long run, addressing the causes of the crisis is more important than just alleviating the symptoms. In many situations, understanding and addressing the causes of psychological distress helps to prevent prolonged, unnecessary, and sometimes, harmful treatments.

I believe in providing individualized, comprehensive care that addresses not only the symptoms but also the underlying causes of psychiatric conditions. I am a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. I have a wide range of knowledge treating Depression, Mood Disorders, Crisis Intervention, Anxiety and Psychosis. I also treat adults ages and older. I use a Holistic approach and establish a therapeutic and fulfilling rapport with all of my clients.

I am a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I completed undergrad at Northern Michigan University in 2011 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I then graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2016 with my Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialty. I have experience in treating a wide variety of mental health conditions in all age groups while working in a family practice setting.

I am Dr. Singh, a licensed Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a doctorate degree in PMHNP and Nursing Education, deeply dedicated to supporting individuals on their path to mental and emotional well-being. Kristi Ramirez and I will provide comprehensive assessments to help you make informed decisions regarding your best treatment options. For many problems medication can be an extremely helpful tool. We specialize in finding the right medication(s) and we collaborate with our counseling specialists to help you to feel and function at your best. Our time is limited and we can't work with patients in counseling with other providers.

I am a dual board certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist, and I specialize in treating a range of disorders including ADHD, behavioral problems, anxiety, Autism, intellectual disabilities, men's health, and mental health issues in athletes. My goal with every patient is to provide up to date, evidence based, individualized, supportive, and collaborative care. Additionally, I am a sports psychiatrist with extensive experience working with athletes of all levels. I am currently the team psychiatrist for the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, and Detroit Pistons.

Lindsay-Rose Dykema is a Psychiatrist in Michigan who has been practicing since 2009. She graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed her residency training at Columbia University. Lindsay-Rose is a queer psychiatrist and prison/police abolitionist who dabbles in narrative poetry and creative nonfiction. Her work has been published in psychiatric and leftist journals, poetry anthologies, and Slate Magazine. She will always offer a safe and affirming space. In her spare time, Lindsay-Rose enjoys yoga, running, writing, belting showtunes, petting cats.

Most people, whether they have a psychiatric illness or not, need psychotherapy, at some point in their lives. I'm here to help determine what's wrong and how to best help. If a medicine is helpful, I'm trained to prescribe it. In most situations, medicine, alone, is not enough to help people disentangle themselves from the feelings, thoughts, or behaviors that have interfered with their functioning or caused such discomfort. Problematic patterns have developed over a long time, but for 'good reasons'. Until we know why, we're unlikely to change them.
