Hey! I am Melissa, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I love working with individuals experiencing anxiety, and depression. I have a trauma informed approach to process feelings of shame or guilt, low self-esteem, excessive working, trouble concentrating, etc. in a judgement free zone. The more you feel comfortable with me, the more you share, leading to a more effective treatment plan.
I thrive on building authentic connections with my patients, so they feel comfortable sharing their story. Talking about feelings and emotions is uncomfortable, I know, I try to make it painless. I am judgement free. I have heard a lot, and shocked by little. Watching someone "heal" their past, recognize their worth and find their hope again is my "Why."
I believe in a holistic, person-centered approach. Every plan is individualized with your goals front and center.
