I seek to create an inviting safe space for people wanting to start the discussion surrounding medication and their mental health. Often, counseling needs to be augmented with medication, and it helps to have a practitioner dedicated to collaborating with you and your therapist. I assess and treat most mental health diagnosis and am well equipped to navigate even the most complex situation. Most importantly I am going to take the time to get to know you and your unique situation. I want you to leave our time together feeling heard and confident in the plan moving forward.
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, meaning my job is to assess, diagnose and treat your mental health medically. I will work with you and your counselor (if you're already in therapy) to assess appropriately, answer your questions and develop a plan you feel good about.
