She received her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and completed her Internship & residency at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. Before joining the outpatient psychiatry team at CareMind Health/Mindoula Clinical Services, Dr. Mak worked as a Staff Psychiatrist for the San Diego Amer. Indian Health Center and for the U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery. Additionally, Dr. Mak has held a Faculty position with the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Dr. Mak is currently a Navy Reserve Officer.
