My patients describe me as authentic because I treat each person as an individual with their own specific symptoms and needs. I am committed to providing a safe space for LGBTQIA+ patients. I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and have worked in psychiatry for over six years. I earned my BSN and MSN from The George Washington University. While I primarily do medication management, I am also trained in DBT and existential therapy.

Hi, I’m Dr. Nubia Chong. I work collaboratively with adults to carefully create an individualized plan for people looking to address the effects of imbalance and disconnection within their lives. This includes (but is not limited to) Depression, Anxiety, unresolved Trauma & PTSD, and other difficulties with emotion regulation. I work from a trauma informed framework and communicate in a way that is respectful, offers hope and genuine connection. Dr. Sylvia Foster is a board-certified psychiatrist who has been practicing in both the private sector and the hospital setting for over 25 years. She graduated from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, now Drexel University, and went on to complete her residency in adult psychiatry and fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at the same institution. She makes use of her experience, along with her innate empathic approach to understand her patients as a whole, allowing for the most accurate diagnoses and treatment.
