Hello, My name is Linda! I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University. Furthermore, I have about 7 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric mental health care.

I can help. I have been in practice 20 plus years maintaining family's health, with a focus on psychiatric care and psychotherapy. I participate in the following insurance plans: Atena, UHC, Oxford. I am awaiting BCBS, Tricare and Medicaide. . I provide super bills that may be submitted to the insurance companies. I specialize in Trauma, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Bipolar.

I have a particular focus on trauma-related symptoms, which can include PTSD, dissociation, depression, and anxiety. I do not believe that medications are a magic bullet, but for many they are an important part of the road back to health. I am open to hearing your viewpoint and beliefs about what will make you healthy, and if you feel you need something that I cannot provide I will try to help you find it. In addition to working with the emotional/psychiatric consequences of trauma, I have experience working with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, and with individuals with chronic medical illnesses.

I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and have been practicing since 2005. I completed my residency from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and my Fellowship in Addictions from the Robert Johnson Wood Foundation. I have experience working with adults as well as adolescents suffering from both psychiatric diagnosis and substance use disorders and have extensive experience working in both out-patient and in-patient settings.

Managed care environment makes this type of practice difficult, but this is my goal to provide compassionate care, filling the gap in the healthcare system whether it is caused by stigma, culture, or finance.

She brings her 10+ years of experience treating trauma disorders, mood disorders, and substance abuse as well as extensive work in crisis stabilization. She provides general psychiatry as well as ketamine-assisted therapy through infusions at our Bethesda clinic.

I am double board-certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. I believe in using both medication when indicated as well as therapy. I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see. During my residency I served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Overall Excellence in Psychiatry Award as well as the Clinical Excellence Award.

Isaiah is a Doctor of Nursing Practice specializing in psychiatric mental health, committed to providing holistic, compassionate, and personalized care. He is board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC. With over 20 years of clinical experience in behavioral health, Isaiah treats patients across the lifespan, focusing on adolescents, young adults, and seniors. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Babcock University, Nigeria, and earned both his Master's and Doctor of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond.

I have extensive experience using scientifically proven methods to treat depression, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, trauma, women’s reproductive mental health, and sleep-related issues. I received my Bachelors Degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where I majored in the Biological Basis of Behavior and competed on the Men's Varsity Swimming Team. After graduating and prior to medical school, I became a private high school science teacher. I completed my Psychiatry residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC, where I was selected as Chief Resident. During that time, I also completed a Psychodynamic Fellowship at New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. I then completed a Clinical Research Fellowship at the National Institute of Mental Health with a focus on Depression and Anxiety.

I am a Cornell and Harvard educated psychiatrist with board certifications in both child/adolescent and adult psychiatry. I have also completed extended training in clinical neurology, which I find helpful in my approach with your care. I have experience working in a variety of settings (inpatient, outpatient, residential and school based) with very diverse patient populations. I've held faculty appointments at Harvard University, Albert Einstein Medical College and Georgetown University.

Dr. Christina Jacob graduated from the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt Psychiatry Residency Training Program. During her training, she focused on treating patients with a variety of mental illnesses, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, substance use, and schizophrenia. In addition, she completed a clinical training year as a dialectical behavioral therapist and continues to use these skills to provide individualized, effective treatment for each of her patients.
