Matthew Hamilton is a board-eligible adult psychiatrist who is establishing his post-residency practice with Talkiatry. Dr. Hamilton’s practice focuses on medication management. Typically, he offers this in conjunction with supportive or emotionally focused therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. After completing his undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin he completed his medical education at Texas Tech University Health and Sciences Center, Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, and recently completed his residency training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
Dr. Hamilton has a diversity of experience in practicing general psychiatry treating adults of all age ranges. While his practice focuses on psychopharmacotherapy, Dr. Hamilton employs elements of psychotherapy in his practice where appropriate and will collaborate with your therapist when you are working with one.
