While many may benefit from medication, all can benefit from therapy. Medication management is a standard offering; however, psychotherapy is cornerstone to my practice if that is of interest to you.
I transitioned into psychiatry from inpatient pulmonary and cardiac medicine as an ICU nurse for nearly a decade. Whether in my office, or in the ICU at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I place primacy in human dignity, and it is the lens through which I view every patient-provider encounter.
